When FedEx asked what inspires us, what makes our business stand out, and how our business impacts the community here's what we had to say!
Fitness Bitsy was born in 2014 with a conversation between neighbors and a few ideas. With 60 orders within 2 weeks, the immediate problem was keeping up with the demand and acquiring the beads used in the bracelets. 2.5 years later, we manufacture our beads to specification and hand string exclusive and custom designed bracelets. Our sales have exceeded any expectation and we pride ourselves in measuring our success in customer satisfaction. A business and a friendship has continued to grow.
How would you use the FedEx Small Business Grant money to make a significant impact on your business?
Our customers love our bracelets because they can wear their less than attractive fitness band hidden by a fashionable piece of jewelry. We often hear, "I have a Fitbit, but I don't wear it." We would like to encourage more people to wear their fitness tracker at all times by offering a beautiful alternative. Our motto is "Be Beautiful. Be Fit." The grant would be used for marketing, advertising and packaging to encourage healthy lifestyles and to promote the "Be Fit" portion of our motto.
Top 100 finalists will be announced April 13, 2017. Top 10 winners will be announced April 25, 2017..
